Fire & Water - Cleanup & Restoration

A Basement Flooded by Ground Water.

In our area we are no strangers to the rain and other flooded areas. However, over time the buildup of water pooling by our homes can eventually cause structural and damage to the foundation.

In the picture's here our customers experienced just that after a large rain storm this year. The ground water seeped in through a crack in the basements edge and most of their belongings were damaged. Ground water is considered a "Category 3 water/ black water", which means it's unsanitary water that contains bacteria. Black water is different then typical water losses such as ones caused by a leaky pipe or water heater. The water from the ground is considered to be highly contaminated and requires our technicians to use a higher level of care to safely work.

The extracting and drying process was difficult for this job, due to continues rain fall and the inability to fix and patch the damaged area. The source must be stopped before any further restoration and drying would be successful. Once we were able to identify and stop the water source from entering the home, we were able to begin the cleanup and restoration and making this disaster "Like it never even happened."
