Kalama Police Station being Restored after A Massive Flood.
In the Pacific Northwest, the residents have become accustom to down pours and occasional mud slides. However, when flood waters reek havoc on your small town and cause evacuations, we're not always prepared.
In a small town just outside of Longview, WA they had experienced complete devastation, when the flood waters filled the streets. Local agencies, business owners, and several homeowners had all been affected. Once the flood waters drained and the city could be accessed, SERVPRO was called to begin mitigating the damage and manage the restoration project for several public offices.
In this picture, you'll see inside the Kalama Police station, where it was inhabitable through out. The entire building required flood demolition of the walls, floors, and other affected materials. SERVPRO of Longview/Kelso was prepared with a large quantity of drying equipment that was needed for multiple public offices.
The Kalama police station was impressed with our ability to begin the cleanup and restoration process immediately. Our restoration technicians worked long hours, so these offices could begin recovering and rebuilding their facilities.
